CrossingTech Upgrade Kit WOHW V1 to V2

The WOHW V1 to V2 upgrade kit is for owners of an existing Wireless One Hit Wonder V1 who want to switch the heater unit to the V2 generation without buying a whole new system. The set contains the two components that define the V2 jump: the larger 25 mm stainless heater housing and the matching 25 mm heating coil.

What you get

• 1× 25 mm heating coil — the V2-generation axial coil (220 V)
• 1× SS316L stainless heater housing — pre-filled with 3 mm ruby balls

What changes vs. the V1 configuration

• Larger ruby-chamber design for more thermal mass and longer sessions without re-heating
• Round 3 mm ruby balls instead of the V1 cut rubies — improved airflow
• Heating coil enlarged to 25 mm, matched to the V2 housing
• Brings your WOHW V1 in line with the V2 configuration described on the WOHW V2 product page

Installation

You swap the heater housing and coil in your existing wireless unit. Before the swap, disconnect everything from mains and let it fully cool down. Before the first session we recommend dry-firing the new empty coil at higher temperature (≈ 425 °C / 800 °F) to burn off any manufacturing residue.

Notes / requirements

• You need a working WOHW V1 unit including Wireless Dockingstation and PID controller — this bundle is not a complete device.
• Not included: PID, dock, bowl, bubbler, tools. You reuse those from your existing V1 setup.
• Optionally compatible: Titanium Matrix Bowl and adapters from the V2 ecosystem if you also want to switch the bowl.

Safety notes

Heating coils reach very high temperatures — risk of burns and fire. Let everything cool down before the swap, never run the device unattended, keep it away from children and pets.
