CrossingTech Titanium Matrix Bowl

The Titanium Matrix Bowl is a hybrid glass and Grade-2 titanium bowl — built for the Ruby Twist and the Wireless system. Conduction (contact with the hot heater housing) and convection (air flowing through) in a single unit, without the classic drawback of pure metal bowls that expand when heated and stick in the glass joint.

It's the bigger sister to the Micro Matrix Bowl and built for full sessions.

Construction

• Bowl body: Grade-2 titanium
• Glass joints: borosilicate — 14.4 mm pre-attached, 18.8 mm spare in the box
• Screen: 19 mm stainless-steel mesh screen (spare)
• O-rings: 2× heat-resistant spare o-rings

• Injector mode: ~0.3 g — direct hit with full heat release
• Diffuser mode: ~0.5 g — gentler, longer draws

Tip for stuck joints

Glass joints can sit tight. Grip the bowl and the joint firmly and pull straight apart — don't wiggle, don't twist. Once the joint is out, apply a little o-ring lubricant to the rings to make it easier next time. For really stuck joints, use heat: place the heater housing on the bowl for about 15 seconds, then grip the titanium part with an oven glove or towel and pull the glass joint straight out.
