CrossingTech Upgrade Kit Ruby Twist to Pro

The upgrade bundle converts the heat chamber of an existing Ruby Twist V1 Kit to the Pro configuration — without buying a whole new kit. The real difference between V1 and Pro housings is the ruby filling: the V1 uses larger gem-cut ruby stones, the Pro carries around 155 polished 2.5 mm balls. More balls in the same chamber → more active surface → smoother heat handover to the air streaming through. That ball configuration is what you get here, plus a couple of wear parts to refresh while you're in there.

What's in the box

• 255× polished 2.5 mm ruby balls — the actual Pro conversion for your chamber; enough for the Pro-style fill plus a small reserve for later top-ups
• 2× CNC stainless-steel mesh screens — matching wear parts to swap in while you're rebuilding instead of reusing the old ones

Why 2.5 mm instead of gem-cut?

• More surface per volume: ~155 balls at 2.5 mm provide more contact area to the air than a handful of larger gem-cut stones. Heat handover becomes more uniform.
• Finer convection: the airflow passes through a denser ball bed, keeping temperature distribution more homogeneous across the session.
• Pro-spec: identical fill to the assembled Ruby Twist Pro Kit.

How to use

With the device unplugged and fully cooled: remove old rubies and screens from the chamber, clean the housing (compressed air or a soft cloth), install the new CNC screens, refill with the 2.5 mm ruby balls, close the housing. Before the first heat cycle, briefly burn off empty at a higher temperature if any manufacturing residue is present.

Requirements

• You need a working Ruby Twist V1 Kit — this bundle is not a complete device.
• Not included, kept from your V1 setup: housing, 20 mm heating coil, Micro PID controller, bowls, tools, stand.
• If you also want to convert the bowl to the Pro variant, you additionally need the Micro Matrix Bowl — intentionally not included here since many V1 users continue using their existing glass bowl.

Disconnect from power and let the device fully cool before rebuilding. Do not swallow ruby balls; keep away from children and pets.
