CrossingTech Micro PID Controller for Ruby Twist V1 / Pro

The CrossingTech Micro PID Controller is the control unit shipped with the Ruby Twist and Ruby Twist Pro kits — compact, fast, precise. Here you get it on its own as a replacement or for a second setup.

What sets it apart

• Fast heat-up: this PID reaches the target temperature in roughly half the time of comparable controllers. Important: always keep the item being heated (injector housing, banger, etc.) inside the coil while it warms up.
• Large, clear top-mounted green display with large green buttons — readable from a distance, intuitive to operate.
• 1 °C / 1 °F steps for fine adjustment, with switchable Celsius / Fahrenheit readout.
• Auto-shutoff between 1 and 5 hours.

Compatibility

Confirmed compatible with all 220 V coils in the CrossingTech ecosystem:

• Ruby Twist V1 and Ruby Twist Pro — the standard application

Caution: never mix coils and controllers from different manufacturers. Different pin layouts can damage either the coil or the controller — and void the warranty on both.

How to use

• On/off: hold the central button for 2 seconds
• Temperature: use the + / − buttons
• Auto-off timer: when switched on, press the central button 5 times, then adjust with + / − between 0–5 (0 = off, 1–5 = hours)
• Celsius / Fahrenheit: when switched off, hold the + button for 5 seconds, then press + again to toggle, central button to exit

Important note

This product ships without a power cable. The device has a standard kettle-lead socket (C13/C14) on the back — you'll need a matching EU power cable (kettle lead), the same kind a PC power supply uses. The EU power cable bundled in the Ruby Twist kit is not included with this stand-alone item.

Lifespan tip

Heat-up / cool-down cycles are the main driver of premature coil wear — avoid switching on and off during short breaks. Important: never leave the device running unattended — if you leave the room, switch off.
