The Ruby Twist Pro Kit is the premium variant of the CrossingTech Twist series — same Twist airflow, same Micro PID Controller and the same 20 mm heating coil as the Ruby Twist V1. Three core differences set the Pro apart: the hybrid Micro Matrix Bowl instead of a simple glass bowl, around 155 polished 2.5 mm ruby balls instead of the larger gem-cut rubies, and a wooden coil handle with coil guard in place of the V1's silicone grip. More balls in the same chamber means more active surface area and a finer heat handover to the air streaming through.

How the Ruby Twist Pro works

• Ruby chamber with 155 × 2.5 mm balls: the Pro housing carries roughly 155 polished 2.5 mm ruby balls instead of the larger gem-cut rubies of the V1. More balls → more contact surface → smoother heat handover to the airflow.
• Twist airflow beneath the rubies: identical to the V1 — an insert sets the hot air into a spiral rotation that penetrates the material evenly. No stirring between draws.
• Hybrid Micro Matrix Bowl instead of glass bowl: rather than a one-sided 14 mm glass bowl, the Pro ships with the Micro Matrix Bowl — titanium body with borosilicate glass joints in 14.4 mm and 18.8 mm, both included, tool-free swap. Dual mode: ~0.3 g in injector and ~0.5 g in diffuser mode.
• Wooden coil handle with coil guard: the heating coil ships with a solid wooden handle on the Pro instead of the V1's silicone grip. Premium feel, stays cooler at the body in your hand, and the coil guard adds protection when setting it down.
• Lower working temperatures: like the V1 — optimal between 270–330 °C, with around 305 °C as the bowl standard. Cleaner aromas at better efficiency than the 300–370 °C of the Thermal Twist predecessor.

Control

Shipped with the CrossingTech Micro PID controller (CE / RoHS) — digital display in 1 °C / 1 °F steps, auto-shutoff. Holds the 20 mm heating coil stable across the working range. Functionally identical to the V1.

How to use

Before first use, briefly burn off the empty coil at a higher temperature to remove manufacturing residue. For the Micro Matrix Bowl start at 305 °C — injector mode (~0.3 g) for direct, dense draws, diffuser mode (~0.5 g) for gentler, longer sessions. Tune in 5 °C steps to taste.
