The Ruby Twist Injector is the next evolutionary step in the CrossingTech Twist series — direct successor to the Thermal Twist, built to outperform classic 20 mm-coil injectors in efficiency and flavor. The core upgrade: a chamber filled with gemstone-cut ruby balls sitting above the signature Twist airflow.

How the Ruby Twist works

• Ruby chamber as heat reservoir: the titanium housing holds a chamber of precisely cut ruby balls. On each pull, room-temperature air is drawn through the hot rubies and brought up to vaporization temperature in a fraction of a second.
• Twist airflow beneath the rubies: a dedicated insert sets the hot air into a spiral rotation. The vortex flow penetrates the material evenly — no cold spots, no need to stir between draws.
• Lower working temperatures: instead of the 300–370 °C range of its predecessor, the Ruby Twist runs optimally at 270–330 °C, with about 305 °C as the standard for the regular bowl. The result: cleaner aromas at better efficiency.

Shipped with the CrossingTech Micro PID controller (CE / RoHS) — digital display in 1 °C / 1 °F steps, auto-shutoff. Holds the 20 mm heating coil absolutely stable across the working range.

How to use

Before first use, briefly burn off the empty coil at a higher temperature to remove manufacturing residue. For the standard bowl, start at 305 °C — step down in 5 °C increments for gentler sessions, step up slightly for denser hits.
